These coloured masking tapes are made from Japanese rice paper. That is why we call this Washi tape. Thanks to the extra strong, thin paper layer, a very low lacquer edge is realized. It can be smoothly wrapped around corners and is easy to tear by hand. All washi tapes are easy to process, to describe and can be easily removed again under normal use. For the various painting applications, there is a separate, standardized color masking tape.
